Terms and conditions for K-9 X-press, Dog Walking Services in Cumbernauld and Kilsyth

K-9 X-Press is authorised to perform the care and services as outlined in these Terms and Conditions and by any following contract and/or completed booking form as applicable.

K-9 X-Press warrants that it holds public liability insurance for the loss and/or damage to third party property and/or bodily injury to third party persons arising from their activities.

All pets/animals under the care and supervision of K-9 X-Press are required to be in good general health. Proof of which will be required including vaccinations and/or medication and all animals must be free from fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites and parasites.

In the case of an emergency, K-9 X-Press will contact you at the given emergency number/s as soon as possible to discuss the situation. If you are un-contactable and veterinary attention is required, K-9 X-Press reserves the right to priorities the needs of your pet and will take your pet to the veterinary practice designated in our client personal details form. In the event of a life threatening situation, we will take your pet to the closest veterinary practice to our location.

Owners are responsible for the payment of any veterinary fees incurred.

In the event of K-9 X-Press carer being bitten or otherwise exposed to any disease or ailment received from the clients pet, the client shall be responsible for payment of all costs incurred by the carer.

K-9 X-Press agrees to provide the services specified in the contract. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against the said K-9 X-Press including accidental damage to property and pets.

Dogs must be sociable with other dogs, adults and children. If your dog is not able to be walked with other dogs, or you requires individual attention then your dog can be walked on its own through our one to one service.

K-9 X-Press will not handle any dangerous dogs.

All dogs will remain on a lead unless I am confident that the dog will do a recall and a prior agreement has been reached with the carer and client.

All keys and personal information on the owners and pets will be kept in a secure place, with keys being locked separately in a safety box.

No information regarding the client or animal will be released to anyone outside of K-9 X-Press. K-9 X-Press respects the privacy and safety of all its clients and their pets.

Before any service commences, there will be an initial consultation meeting. A client personal details form for your pet (inc. a photo) will be created and kept by K-9 X-Press. A disclaimer signature will be required from the client before a service will commence.

Fees are stated and agreed on during your initial consultation with K-9 X-Press. Payments for the services provided will be collected on the last day you wish for your dog to be walked of each week, unless specific arrangements have been made by the carer and the client.

K-9 X-Press reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time before or during its term if K-9 X-Press in its sole discretion, determines that the clients pet poses a danger to the health or safety of the K-9 X-Press carer or other pets in their care.

K-9 X-Press reserves the right to amend or alter these Terms and Conditions as appropriate.
